I met up with the wonderful Helms family bright and early on Easter Sunday morning!  Don’t these three make a picture-perfect family?!  We met up at the Botanical Gardens for the start of this Easter morning session.  It was a gorgeous day for a photoshoot, we were so blessed to have beautiful weather on this holiday morning.   We really did pick a great day to take photos!

Ashlyn is the pretty little girl you see in many of these.  She was so cute… a real bundle of energy!  Once I was able to catch up with her, we had so much fun together and got some really lovely photos of her just being herself and exploring amidst all of the flowers.

We started at the Botanical Gardens, but decided to finish out shoot at Sloss Furnace, which ended up being the perfect choice.  Ashlyn’s parents are so laid back… they were a real joy to work with!  I really love when people can go with the flow and just let the moments happen naturally, and this family was perfect at that!  You were all so lovely and awesome, and I had such a great time with your family.  I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!

Introducing our  Wedding Photography Contest Love Story Winners-Monique and LeMar!

Yep, they will be getting married on Saturday and The Once in Every Life Photography team will be there to capture the day! April, Adam and I sponsored a contest back near Valentines day and its hard to believe that this lucky couple’s wedding is only a few days away. Check out the February archives to read their story!

Part of the prize package included an Engagement session. Among the hustle and bustle of wedding planning and photo sessions we were able to pull it off this past weekend. We visited the lovely Botanical Gardens and visited several nice areas throughout the park-a favorite of Monique’s -a  pond/waterfall  and the gift shop. Yes the gift shop even made a sweet picture. Life is sweet. Congrats to this couple and we look forward to capturing your day!

Farilyn and her mom joined me on a dreary morning at Botanical Gardens for some portraits.  The day turned out to be just awesome! NO RAIN!!  With all the bad weather we have had we decided to just chance it since we had re arranged our sch sooo many times already- it was worth it!!  Thanks for bringing your princess to see me Brandy!

I wanted to share a quick sneak peek from a session I shot on New Years Day at the Botanical Gardens. After battling the wettest December I can remember in YEARS the 3 of us were finally able to shoot- and it was a GORGEOUS day!

Raven and Brandon are a really awesome looking couple- aren’t they?? I had a really great time working with them and I am gonna have a hard time choosing the ones to edit. I am super stoked about their upcoming wedding in March!
