It is my pleasure to introduce you to sweet little Anna Kay! I met up with her for our portrait session on a private farm in McCalla and it was the perfect location.

Her grandma calls her Little Lamb. So sweet!  She was a little shy at first, but after entertaining her by singing some lullabies, she warmed up quite a bit. 

Anna Kay loves to sing and has a beautiful smile. Check out the boots! This girl is going to be a star!

Soon enough, her great personality began to shine through.

I just love her expression on this last one – so amazing!

This is Will, and I’ve been photographing him for a few years now.  It’s absolutely amazing to see how this once little baby boy has grown up into a pint-size man!  I can only imagine that he’s going to get even more handsome as he keeps growing up.

Will is everything a sweet little boy should be, happy birthday again!  (Thank you also to Will’s mom, who ROCKS!)  I had such a great time with this session, and can’t wait to see Will again in the future for the next one.

Jessica is one of the most awesome two-year-olds I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.  She is incredibly wise beyond her years and was such a joy to shoot and hang out with.

Doesnt’ Jessi have the sweetest little face and some of the cutest looks you’ve ever seen?!  Thanks to her mama Holly for sharing this little gem of a girl with me.  I hope we can shoot together again soon!

This is Carter… and I’ve gotta say, he just cracks me up!  Even thinking back to the shoot while writing this blog post gives me a little chuckle.  He was all about my silly voices while we were shooting, it was hysterical.

I had such a hoot shooting him.  And he is SUCH a boy… see what I mean?

I honestly think this is the best job in the world, and I’m so thankful that I get to wake up and do it every day.  It’s so rewarding, and being able to photograph kids just makes it even better.  They’re so fun and lighthearted; a real joy to be around and to work with.  Big hugs for you, Carter, and I will hopefully see you very soon!

Isabella is such a sweet little girl, and I’m so glad that she came in to the studio for a session with me.  At first, she was very shy, but she warmed up at super warp speed, which made me so happy!

Isn’t she gorgeous?  And I loved her little painted toes, it was such a sweet touch.  This sweet girl and I had a great time together, and I was able to capture all of her funny and charming faces!

At the end of the session, I had to reward Isabella with a treat for being such a trooper and letting me take tons and tons of photos of her!  All kids love a treat, and how can you say no to such a sweet face with a ring pop?!  Isabella, I had so much fun with you, and I hope we get to have another photo session together in the future!

This is Ellen.  I’ll just say it right now… I love her!  I’ve been shooting her since she was just a year old, and now she’s already three!  My, how time flies when you’re looking the other way!  She’s grown into such a beautiful little girl, I can’t believe it!

Ellen has some of the most expressive facial expressions I’ve ever seen, it’s completely adorable.  She is constantly cracking me up while we’re shooting.  In addition to that, she is a sweet, loving and polite little girl.  That’s all I can ask for, right?!

See what I mean?  She’s the best!  She has an awesome brother named Sam, and a gorgeous mom named Val.  Ellen, thanks again for the wonderful and hysterical session, and I can’t wait to see you for the next one we do together!

This little darling is Evelyn!  She’s such a sweetheart, and can’t take a bad photo, I swear!  I actually had to make myself stop editing and step away from the computer once I reached a certain point, because there were just so many great photos to choose from.

Ebbi (her super-cute nickname) was so easy to work with!  She has the best laugh too, it just made me want to laugh right along with her.  Ebbi was such a doll and joy to be around that I wanted to keep her!  Sadly, I could not, as she had to go home with her awesome mommy, Mendi, who I can’t thank enough for bringing her in for the session!  I hope to see you both again very soon for some more photos!

I’m pleased to be showcasing two cuties on the blog today, Anna and Alex.  They are brother and sister, and traveled all the way from Helena to do a session with me!  I was so pleased to have them in, and even more pleased to be sharing their photos with you all today.  First up is Anna, the younger sister.  She was so sweet and cute… her pictures speak for themselves!

Next up is Anna’s big brother, Alex.  He’s quite the ham for the camera!  I had such a good time shooting him, especially since he always came up with a new look to give me whether it was being a muscle-man or just flashing his sweet smile.

Thanks to both Anna and Alex for coming all the way out to do a session with me!  I hope all of you reading this are liking the vintage doors and floor in the studio space we’ve created… they’ve been going over really well and everyone is loving them!  They really bring some character to all the sessions I’ve shot in this location so far.  If you want to come check it out, please don’t hesitate to give me a call!

This is Skye!  She’s the daughter of one of my very best friends.  She’s so gorgeous and I’ve been dying to shoot her for the longest time!  Spring rolled around and I finally got the chance to capture her beauty in some photos.  Easter morning was beautiful and thankfully the awesome weather continued throughout the day… so that afternoon we headed out to Montevallo to take pictures in various places.

Skye is such a wonderful girl, and I have no doubt that she’s going to grow into a lovely young lady.  After all, she’s the daughter of one of my best friends in the whole world… how can she NOT grow up into someone lovely?!  She’s a real gem of a little girl, I loved shooting her and hope that we can do it again sometime… isn’t she a great little model?
