While in New York City, I did a quick little bridal session with Angela.  We went to Times Square and it was SO chilly!  I’m only posting a few pictures in order to limit myself… this session was so great that I could post a billion without even thinking about it!  Enjoy Angela and her sassy bridal session!

It’s time to check out Mariesa and Gary’s wedding, at the beautiful Vulcan Park in Birmingham!  It was a hot, sunny, summer day… perfect for a wedding!

Mariesa was such a wonderful bride.  She wore her grandmother’s initial pendant on her dress and featured some gorgeous sunflowers in her bouquet.  Most of all, she is a trooper!

She broke her foot just weeks before the wedding… and still looks radiant!

The couple had a delicious dinner hosted by Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and the reception was full of the couple’s quirky touches!  Gary works for Alabama Public Television, so the couple showcased themselves on TV at the cupcake table.

Mariesa was a lovely bride to work with, and was definitely NOT a Bridezilla… but check out this awesome Bridezilla cake:

Mariesa and Gary are so thoughtful.  They handcrafted wine cork trivets as favors for all of their guests!

The couple and their guests finished up their wedding night by partying at the Fox & Hound Sports Bar and Grill.

I want to wish Mariesa and Gary lots of happiness in their future together.  I had so much fun getting to know you and your families!  Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

This is the beginning of Kristie’s Trash the Dress bridal session in Hoover, AL.

Twenty minutes into the shoot as everything came together and the photos started getting really beautiful… it began to POUR rain!

We planned on multiple locations for this session, but only completed this one so far.  Kristie and I will finish this shoot if it KILLS us!  Hopefully the rain won’t follow us to the upcoming locations!

In the next few weeks we will be integrating a really cool new feature on my, April’s side of the OIELP site.  We will have a menu where you can go and see a list of tried and true vendors that we have worked with personally and feel extremely proud to refer to you.  Everything from florists to shoes will be included.  Please give our vendors a call and tell em we sentcha!

Nicole has been really one of my most favorite brides to work with.  She is simply amazing and WOW beautiful.  I have just a couple of pics from her extreme bridal/trash the dress to post right now but I will add a few more later tonight!

Lauren and I headed down to the gulf coast to do her bridal and a trash the dress.  She is absolutely gorgeous! We had a rain threat most of the day but we managed to stay dry!!  Thanks for coming down to do the session Lauren- 2 weeks til your wedding!!!  Enjoy!!

Wow is really all I can say about Danielle.  She is smart, beautiful and one of my most favorite brides that I have worked with to date!  We shot her awesome bridal session at Anderson Gail Farms. This is also the fabulous location where she and Sean got hitched! (pics coming soon)

I know I am way overdue on blogging everyone but I have been out of town and recently sick with pneumonia.  I hope you followers enjoy these few peeks at Danielle’s bridal as much as I did shooting them!

I have been so incredibly busy with children, weddings, engagements and senior shoots!  I have been editing my life away and I have just left you guys hanging!  It’s been a crazy month with all that has been going on but I WILL have some new blogs this week with pictures from TONS of sessions and weddings! Plus I need to shout out to all of our newest couples!!

Finally!  My return to the OIELP Blog!  I am so stoked to show you all a smattering of the pictures from Kim and Steve’s wedding that Adam and I (April) shot on Valentine’s Day.   These 2 were fun and we had a really great day with them!

We started out at the service location, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where the couple surrounded by family and close friends were all getting ready.  As you can see the church has beautiful stained glass in the main sanctuary and the chapel the wedding was in was perfect for their intimate wedding!  After the service was completed we headed over to the Vestavia Hills Country Club for a delicious reception!  We were able to get load of gorgeous candids of all those who attended.

We finished up shooting some fun bridals of Kim and then a few shots of her and Steve together.

I had a really fun and non traditional sort of Bridal session with Stephanie this past weekend.  Stephanie and Chad got married in November and it was really cold on their wedding day.  We got a very few shots of her outside that day due to the cold temps- so Steph and I decided to do one more session to get some more shots of just her in the dress.  It was really worth the wait.
