For February it was beautiful and you couldn’t ask for more from mother nature. The bridal party was great to work with and the day went smooth as silk in capturing these two love birds. Thank you both for allowing us to capture some great memories!

I recently shot an engagement session for such a wonderful couple, Carrie and Chris. They wanted to shoot at Kymulga Grist Mill, such a cool and gritty location! It was the perfect contrast to their relaxation around each other. The day was cool and sunny, perfect for an engagement shoot!
Carrie and Chris make a great couple. They are a perfect complement to each other; so funny and full of laughter! They are so sweet and caring around each other, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in a few months!
I made a sweet little kitten friend while shooting, and he was with us for the whole session! He’s hiding in two of the pictures in this post, can you find him?!
Adam and I had the great pleasure of getting to know Nicole and Dustin by working with them on their mini engagement session at the Aldridge Gardens. Just a few words sum up this session:

Hello Everyone-
It’s great to be back and we are looking forward to starting off the wedding season this month.
Adam and I had the great pleasure of meeting Tracey and Jeremy at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens where we visited the Rose Garden as well as the Japanese Garden for some fabulous pictures.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weekend was beyond beautiful for February. We cant wait for spring to come soon as well as an August wedding for these two lovebirds ! Enjoy.

Hollywood Crush, a feature on MTV.Com, has written about The Hillywood Show’s latest undertaking, NEW MOON PARODY.
I was lucky enough to be able to accompany the cast to Forks, Washington and take promotional stills for the parody, and some have finally been able to be posted online! The parody only premiered last night, it’s crazy to see how many times these photos have been viewed!

My best friend and fellow photographer Kricia Morris invited me to come along and shoot April and Jeff’s gorgeous wedding and day-after session. How could I say no?!
Don’t April and Jeff make a gorgeous couple?! The beauty of those two paired with the gorgeous setting definitely made this a wedding to remember. I really admired their bold choices of color because it all went perfectly with the feel of their wedding.

While in New York City, I did a quick little bridal session with Angela. We went to Times Square and it was SO chilly! I’m only posting a few pictures in order to limit myself… this session was so great that I could post a billion without even thinking about it! Enjoy Angela and her sassy bridal session!
Nicole and her amazing husband and son invited me up to New York City to do a family and maternity session for them before Thanksgiving. The shoot took place in Nicole’s gorgeous new apartment that was close to Central Park. Le sigh, what a gorgeous place to live and raise a family! Check out that view!
Isn’t Nicole the most gorgeous pregnant woman you’ve ever seen?! She literally GLOWS. I swear, no one could look more radiant than Nicole while pregnant.
The couple’s son, Luca, is just adorable. He’s such a cutie pie, and it’s fun to watch him work those shades for all the ladies.
Thanks to all of you for giving me a reason to come to New York City and especially for the lunch out on the town. It was delicious! I can’t wait to see you again soon! (Another thank you to Stefani and Angela for coming out on this awesome trip with me.)
Erin and Daniel recently tied the knot in Trussville. I had such a good time shooting their big day!
Erin made quite the glowing bride, and Daniel the handsome groom. What I really loved was the simplicity of their wedding bands. Very chic and classic!
